Helping you reach fluency in under 3 years

Learning Spanish starts with finding the right class.  If you’ve never taken Spanish before, or if you want to start again from the beginning, go ahead and register for Level 1. If you’re looking for a more advanced class, you’ll find optional placement tests with class descriptions for each level below. Passing or taking a placement test is NOT a requirement for registering for class. Classes are offered four times a year, so you can start your language learning journey whenever works best for you!

Beginner Courses

Levels 1–3 provide the foundation for your journey toward Spanish fluency. You’ll learn essential vocabulary to discuss a wide range of everyday topics, including family, work, travel, food, money, health, and weather.

These courses focus on communicating in the present tense, with a heavy emphasis on mastering regular, irregular, stem-changing, and reflexive verb conjugations. You’ll also learn the conditional tense, comparatives, superlatives, and how to use direct and indirect object pronouns accurately.

Intermediate Courses

Levels 4 and 5 focus on the past tense. Throughout these courses, you’ll learn the regular and irregular conjugations of the preterite and imperfect. By the end of Level 5, you’ll be able to understand and tell stories in the past tense.

High Intermediate Courses

In Levels 6–8, we’ll move beyond expressing ourselves in the present and past to communicating in a wider range of situations. We’ll expand our knowledge of haber to include the present, past, infinitive, and future perfect tenses. We’ll also learn how to combine direct, indirect, and reflexive pronouns, explore new uses of se, and tackle the future and command forms. By the end of Level 8, you’ll be able to communicate more precisely and express more complex ideas in Spanish.

Advanced Courses

Levels 9–11 focus on refining your speaking abilities and helping you communicate more fluently and naturally. We’ll expand our vocabulary to discuss a wide variety of topics and study the present, imperfect, present perfect, and past perfect subjunctive to express uncertainty, doubt, and other nuanced ideas.

Level X is a course for graduates of Level 11. Designed for students who can already speak Spanish fluently and no longer need explicit grammar instruction, this course provides a structured space to practice reading, listening, and speaking in Spanish. After Level 11, students can continue refining their Spanish by repeating a course to review material or advance to Level X.
