Why Spanish with Caiden?

Learning a new language can be a daunting task, so it’s important to find the right class. However, speaking from experience, finding a great language class is difficult. Often times classes are too easy, too hard, not interesting, or they don’t fit with your schedule. I’ve designed my classes with these thoughts in mind. Keep reading below to learn what sets my program apart!

All Spanish with Caiden classes follow a specially designed curriculum. Each week we’ll have a handout that includes vocabulary lists, grammar explanations, readings, videos, optional homework assignments, and grammar exercises. Aside from this, students will need a computer, tablet, or phone that can connect to Zoom.

Yes! All class materials, including student handouts, power points, and other resources are included in tuition and can be accessed at any time through Google Classroom.

Good language textbooks are hard to come by so I decided to write my own. The Spanish with Caiden curriculum is designed to encourage as much conversation as possible. Courses focus on learning the most useful vocabulary and grammar and we’ll start having meaningful adult conversations from Day 1. You’ll get to practice conversations and participate in engaging activities such as debates, telling stories, charades, auctions, and more!

In order to provide proper support, practice, and attention to everyone, all classes are capped at 10 students. The average class size is currently 3-4 students.

Head over to the Group Classes page! Here you’ll find optional placement tests with full class descriptions. If you’re still having trouble deciding what class to register for, please contact me at caiden@spanishwithcaiden.com

Classes usually occur on Sundays and evening weeknights. Each term returning students maintain their class time as they progress through the curriculum, so they can count on a consistent class time that works with their schedule.

Classes start four times per year, usually in January, April, July, and October.

Yes! As long as you have internet and an email address, I’m convinced that I can get you onto class. Once you’ve logged into zoom, all you have to do is click the link and you’ll be automatically redirected to class. Upon request, I can also send you all of the weekly handouts at the beginning of class. Some students like to print these ahead of time and this will eliminate needing to access the Google Classroom. I’ve had students with varying levels of experience using computers, including several students in their 60s and 70s who’ve all done great in class!

All classes are on a sliding scale so that everyone can learn Spanish regardless of their financial situation. Students can choose to pay anywhere between $300-$600. For each friend they refer, returning students can also earn $50 credits to further subsidize their tuition costs.
